The Temple Sinai Knitting Club meets every week to knit and crochet warm winter scarves, hats, mittens, sweaters, blankets, and teddy bears for donation to homeless shelters on the North Shore as well as to the Linus Project.
The group began knitting together in November in 2019, and continued meeting throughout the pandemic on Zoom. They share stories, yarn, and patterns while making friends and creating warmth while practicing the craft they love to keep others warm in cold weather. The Lynn Shelters, LifeBridge in Salem, and the Linus Project of Boston are among the grateful recipients of the group’s efforts. The group welcomes new members.
